Just when I thought there was no hope for me, I heard about Accuvision and my life has changed forever! After being told by opticians on the high street I will never ever be able to correct my +6.00 vision and my Astigmatism I felt so upset and lost all hope of ever being able to see with out glasses. I am only 24 years old and I was sick of switching between glasses and contacts. A friend of mine told me about this clinic in London that not only goes the extra mile in care, but in vision too! I came along to Accuvision and from the moment we arrived to my first appointment I felt at ease. Immediately you are welcomed into the Accuvision family! Everyone is so friendly and polite. After the initial tests, I was told I can have the surgery and tears of joy came! I returned to the clinic for my surgery and although I was nervous, I felt so safe and looked after. I was taken through to surgery and it was not what I expected, it felt so simple, I had a nurse holding my hand the entire time as I was nervous, she spoke to me throughtout the whole procedure as did the surgeons! I felt so reassured. It didn’t hurt AT ALL. It turns out I had no reason to feel nervous as everything went perfectly, I had support and it was over really quickly! I then had my regular after care, which is just amazing, they were at the end of the phone every time I called, someone always became available to talk me through any of my worries. I suffered with ever so slight dry eyes, quickly rectified by some drops given to me by the clinic. I am now nearly 6 months post surgery and better than ever. It’s hard to believe I ever wore glasses in the first place. It is one of the best choices I have made to date. Not only the decision to get the treatment, but the decision to get it done with Accuvision. You really have changed my life in so many ways i am so thankful to the care and support throughout the whole experience and I would highly recommend all friends and family to this clinic!

 Well worth it! Makes such an incredible difference, it’s worth going through the operation for.  Takes a while to settle down (as I was a -9.00 and -7.25) and get used to but to be able to do everything unrestricted by glasses or contact lenses is incredible! Many thanks to all the team.

I have had my surgery done nearly a year ago. I have been left with an undercorrection and my vision is still slightly blurry without glasses. It happens and we all take that risk. The devil is in the aftercare.

Accuvision claims to “highly value feedback on all aspects of the service they provide, from initial consultation through to surgery”. That is very true, as my issues with the clinic started AFTER the surgery.

After over three months, when it became clear the surgeon did not manage to achieve the expected result, I started enquiring about the possibility of enhancement. It was then that the tone of everyone in the clinic changed 180 degrees.

An enhancement procedure is certainly a vast expense that the staff seem to be instructed to avoid at all costs. Effectively, I was successfully discouraged from it and have since been seeking expensive help elsewhere. Accuvision is clearly about numbers and sales targets rather than long lasting patient satisfaction.

I am disappointed, though mostly with myself, for allowing them to fool me with their sales technique and false politeness. I believed they were somewhat better than the ´high street’ laser surgery providers, unfortunately they are no different. Avoid.

From my first phone call to Accuvision the whole team have been amazing, they have gone out of their way to accommodate my everyneed and being able to attend clinic on a Saturday was very helpful.

I had mild myopia with astigmatism.

I was put totally at ease from my first appointment where everything was explained in a way I could fully understand. On the day of my surgery I was really looked after and had 3 separate members of the team talking to me, checking on me and bringing me hot chocolate! We even had a taxi hailed for us. We literally could not have got better treatment. You even managed to put my panicky Dad totally at ease. Thank you for my 20:20 vision too.

 My experience with Accuvision has been very good indeed. I researched various clinics and was recommended Parsons Green (London) by a friend. The clinic team were honest about the results I could expect ( I had -5.50 and -7.00 with astigmatism). They said that my short sight may be not as sharp but my long sight would be much improved.

The results have exceeded my expectations – after 30 years of contact lenses and expensive glasses my long sight is excellent – I can see to drive and shop and I am so happy. 

For close work I do need glasses but just the cheap ‘off the shelf’ type and only a +1.00 as I only need a slight magnification. The aftercare has been excellent – very thorough and I feel as if I have really been looked after. I am very happy with my experience.

 I was short-sighted which meant I had to rely on glasses and contact lenses to see clearly. I didn’t want to wear glasses any more as they affected me when I played sport, running or went out at night. I also couldn’t see when I was swimming. My eyes also became very dry when wearing contact lenses so in the end I could only wear them for a few hours in the evening and they were quite painful.

I was quite lucky as my sister had done all the research on laser eye surgery before me and had chosen Accuvision for her laser eye surgery, so I just came here for my assessment. The consultation was fine, every one was very friendly and I felt confident with the surgery and after-care I was going to receive. On the surgery day I was a little anxious but it was fine. There was just a moment when I felt a little pain but it was over in a second and it all went smoothly after that. The first day after treatment my eyes felt a bit dry but I went out all day and just put the drops in as I was told. It was really nice being able to see so well just a day after the surgery.

It’s now 3 months after my treatment and now I do not have to think about contact lenses or glasses, it’s much less effort or hassle. I do not have to worry about running in the rain in my glasses as that was always difficult and I can see when I swim.

I have recommended laser eye surgery to all my friends and would be happy to recommend Accuvision.

 I am 23 years old and everything was wrong with my eyesight before eye surgery at Accuvision. I had a prescription of +12.50 and -4.00 astigmatism in both eyes which meant that I had to rely on yearly contact lenses to see and work every day. Cleaning them all the time meant that they would break and I would have to keep replacing them and this was very frustrating.

 My Uncle and Aunt had visited Accuvision a few years ago and received a great service and that is why they recommended I contact them for a consultation to see if anything could be done for me. I went to see them in October last year and was very encouraged by what they said they might be able to do for me. I was hoping that I could move out of the very expensive yearly contact lenses and move down to monthlies or weeklies. There was no pressure during the consultation, it was all for me and about my vision, just trying to help me find a way to improve my vision. Whatever I asked there was an answer for and what ever they did not know at the time they would find out for me. I re-visited them in June for the surgery having saved up for the treatment. They repeated many of the eye tests to check I was still suitable and then put me forward for surgery. I was very nervous but that was to be expected. Both my eyes were done at the same time and I could feel the effects straight away. There was no pain, it took about 10 minutes and I was out recovering. My eyes were a bit teary but after half an hour I could start reading things I could never have read before. When I left the clinic on the surgery day I went straight to a local shop to buy my favourite chocolate bar (Yorkie) but I could never see them before but this time I could pick it out straight away. I put drops in my eyes religously when I got home, as I was told to do and I have never had dry eye since the surgery. Many of my friends had treatment elsewhere and have suffered from dry eye for a long time after.  My family and friends all know my experience and they are all keen to visit Accuvision to see what can be done for them. My work life has also changed in the last 3 months since surgery. Being a contractor I find myself in dirty dark places like lofts. Before surgery I found it very difficult to operate in these places and had to turn certain jobs down as I knew I would not be able to function properly in them and do the job with the yearly contacts. Now I can take a spare pair of dailies with me and just pop them in if I need to. My eyes do not get so tired and I am able to take on much more varied work as a result of the surgery. Nothing is holding me back. Infact over the last 3 months the laser eye surgery has already paid for itself. I can do so much more. The day after the surgery I was walking from the house to the station and I could read number plates without glasses. When I got to the clinic the day after the surgery my eyesight was checked and instead of it being +8.00 as I was expecting, it was registered as +5.50 with no astigmatism. I went back a week later and it was still stable at +5.50 and then today for my 3 month check up I was registering +5.00 and could be discharged at the next visit. 
I can only thank Accuvision for changing my vision and changing my future.

After extensive research I found Accuvision came out top over all of the other clinics. I could not find a bad word said about them, simply because they are brilliant. I am 19 years old and underwent laser eye surgery on the 8th of July 2014 and could not be happier. I used to have +7.00 vision in one eye and +6.00 in the other and now I have 20/20 vision. Not to mention I had a turn in one eye which has now completely gone and cannot express how much of a change to my life this has been. I first wore glasses when I was 11 months old and I am thrilled to not have to depend on glasses or contact lenses any longer. Accuvision really take care of you and talk you through everything in the initial free consultation with no pressure whatsoever. I was encouraged to go home and think about it before making a decision, though my mind was made up. On surgery day they talked me through everything and reassured me when the surgery was actually taking place. It only takes around 5 minutes per eye and is a completely painless procedure. After being at the clinic for only an hour and a half I was able to go home, then I came back the next day for a check-up and as everything went perfectly, returned to work a couple of days after having the surgery. Over two months later I am extremely pleased with the result and the level of after-care provided. I cannot stress how much this has changed my life and if you are going to get laser eye surgery done, you should go with Accuvision.
