I originally visited Accuvision to have a consultation for Laser Eye Surgery. After my consultation I discovered that I had a condition I had never heard of before called Kerataconus. I was helpfully informed of all the options, what the condition was, how it develops. The team were very patient and showed me scans and pictures, and their previous results showing that they could halt the progress only inspired confidence in me, especially as my vision staying as it was, would mean me being unable to do my job. I opted to go ahead with the recommended C3R Riboflavin Collagen Cross Linking treatment combined with Topography Guided Laser.

I cannot recommend the procedure enough, there is pain for the first 24 hours, but it is well worth it for the long term end result. The surgery was performed with utmost care. I was prepared in details about every aspect beforehand and the level of care was exemplary. The aftercare has also been brilliant. I was lucky, I managed to catch my eyes while the Keratoconus condition had not developed too far, and this meant that my worst eye would still need vision correction but the quality of vision that has been achieved has far exceeded my expectation, and the less developed eye already has remarkably good vision only 2 weeks after surgery.
I honestly can not find any faults with the way I have been treated by the fantastic committed people at Accuvision, and I hope this goes a little way to thanking them for the outstanding task they perform in giving people the gift of good vision.

Accuvision has provided great service and care from the first consultation to the actual surgery to the aftercare process. A very positive experience. I am very pleased with the result and can only recommend it – especially to people with strong prescriptions as i used to have.

I have postponed writing this testimonial until I felt I was benefitting from the full effects of the surgery. I did indeed suffer slightly from dry eyes and I was a little concerned this was more than usually expected; laser eye surgery is not an instant panacea as with all surgical procedures. The team, however, continued with the excellent aftercare and monitored my progress and informed me of how the eyes were healing. I simply cannot fault the aftercare of Accuvision.

It has been 2 months since the procedure and my vision has simply been faultless. I knew from the thorough examinations at Accuvision they knew exactly the right correction to make. I was never adverse to wearing glasses but for convenience and particularly playing sport it has been simply fantastic. The eyes can be a little scratchy from time to time and sometimes a little blurry, and I would perhaps would have liked to be made a little more aware of this prior to surgery, but the professionalism of Accuvision cannot be faulted. I will be recommending them in the future.

I have always been sceptical about laser eye surgery, but decided to take the plunge with Accuvision. To be honest I was initially booked in with Optical Express but changed my mind within a week, bigger company doesn’t always mean better. I took the Trans-Ephithelial surface procedure, I was impressed with the overall experience from my initial consultation to the post-ops, the service was 100% consistent and the staff were always very friendly. The procedure was pain free, and every step explained but I would definitely recommend taking 5 days at least to allow your eyes to settle if your considering Trans-Epithelial. Other than that it’s the best thing I have ever done.

What can I say but thank you to Accuvision.

I can see perfectly without my specs or contact lenses. Being short sighted with a prescription of -6 each eye, I never thought I would be typing a testimonial with 20/20 vision!

Treatment- Wavefront LASIK

I am REALLY HAPPY with every element of my treatment. From the very first appointment / consultation. I had been to a few consultations elsewhere but ACCUVISION were the one that made me feel the most comfortable-no pressure just plain information which I was then left alone to make my own decision.

On the day of surgery I was very nervous but I can say it was painless. A strange experience but the staff were lovely in calming me down. Since, the check ups have been friendly and great – especially with the now fantastic vision.

I have already forgotten that I ever wore contacts or glasses! I will be recommending Accuvision to anyone who wears glasses.

I had my laser surgery Lasik wavefront last thursday 6th march and cannot say a bad word about the whole process i was so worried being twenty one but i could have the treatment so was so happy.

It is so great to wake up and not be searching for my glasses. I would recommend accuvision to anyone the staff were fantastic and the surgery went really well they made me feel so comfortable and not scared at all. My eyes were 7.5 with astigmatism and 7.00 and i can now see really well making my way to 20/20.

I wish I’d had this done years ago. I had Wavefront Lasik for monovision. Although I was nervous, the team put me at ease and the procedure was over before I knew it – with no pain or discomfort. Within half an hour of the procedure I had 20/25 vision and by the next morning when I revisited, I had 20/20 vision and could read even the smallest print on the reading card!Went back yesterday for my 1 week check-up, everything healing nicely and ahead of schedule AND now have 20/18 vision!!!! Amazing!

I would like to start off my thanking the team at Accuvision for the amazing service that they provided!

I had glasses since the age of 5 and contacts since I was 16. I was near sighted and had astigmatism. I was blind without my glasses or contacts! Now at 25 I was completely fed up of dealing with the trials of corrective lenses. I started researching the many different laser surgery clinics in London and came across Accuvision. What drew me to them was the fact that they did not take a ‘deposit’ for the consultation like many of the other clinics do. That way I was not trapped into choosing them to do the treatment. My boyfriend and I went to the consultation together (he wore contacts and glasses as well) and were greeted by the friendly receptionist. At the consultation our eyes were tested for the eligibility and were told of all the risks involved in the procedure, no question was left unanswered. After the consultation we were so reassured by the clinic that we booked in to do our surgery 6 days later.

During the surgery I must admit, I was quite nervous, but the surgeon spoke to me throughout the entire procedure, reassuring me along the way. I was in and out of the surgery theatre within about 15 minutes then it was my boyfriend’s turn. It went amazingly quick. After the surgery my eyes were burning and itching like crazy but that was all expected. Over the next few days we had very itchy eyes and some blurriness but beyond that WE COULD SEE!

Now 2 weeks later both of our eyes are 100%! All the blurriness is gone and even my night vision is perfect. I still wake up in the morning and for a split second I look for my glasses on my night stand, then I remember I don’t need them and it makes me ecstatic about the surgery all over again! I really do feel like the team at Accuvision is a family and they treat their patients like family. I would recommend them to any and everyone I meet who is considering laser eye surgery. They truly are amazing!
