First of all I would recommend Accuvision to everyone!! The customer service was brilliant!

I’m only 20 yes 20…! I had my laser done last week. I was sick of wearing contact lenses and glasses so i decided to go for the laser treatment. Even though i was too young my prescription was stable for 2 years and my eyes were very healthy. Nick at solihull recommended me to have the lasik wavefront which cost around £850 per eye! and believe me that was worth the money! The surgery itself took around 5mins and straight away i could see the difference. My vision has improved within 3days and i can now see better than my glasses.

I had my laser treatment on the 15th March 2008 at Accuvision after being turned down as unsuitable for LASIK treatment by two well known clinics.

The whole experience was reassuring and the staff more than welcoming and helpful.

WOW !!! – I can see again….

After 18 years (half my life !) of not being able to see without contact lenses and glasses, I finally bit the bullet and went for laser eye treatment at Accuvision SOLIHULL.

Slightly nervous able putting my eyesight in the hands of another person, but the team at Solihull were excellent.

It is probably the most intense experience you will ever have, but believe me the experience of waking up in the morning and being able to see out the window is even more intense !.

The treatment is not painful in the slightest bit and you are in very capable hands. After 13 minutes in the surgery I actually got up and walked back to the waiting room on my own, where 5 other people are trying to gauge your reaction !

I went back today (1 week after surgery) to have my eyes tested – my vision currently stands at 33% better than 20-20 vision !!!! – give it another week and Superman will be worrying !.

For all my nerves and uncertainty in the weeks prior to my treatment I now feel relieved. The treatment whilst being uncomfortable, is a life changing event. The extra confidence that not wearing spectacles gives and the ability to see well at all times means that I feel like a much improved person. The staff at Accuvision are truly tremendous. They give a very personal service and make what could seem very difficult seem very easy. My surgeon thanked me for putting my eyes in his hands (literally!), but with the excellent care I have received it is not hard to do. the treatment itself is swift and controlled and the aftercare is thorough. My thanks go to all the Accuvision staff, from the receptionists to the surgeon, who made my sight and my life so much improved.

Well I now wonder why I did’nt have my eyes lasered years ago – I had tests done at 4 different providers in Birmingham and chose Accuvision at Solihull. I chose them above the other three because I did’nt feel pressured in bying the ‘product’. The others seem top reply on an ‘attractive’ sales pitch whereas the people at Solihull were top class, honest and were able to give me plenty of time to discuss my eyes and the treatment they offered. Accuvision was not the cheapest or the most expensive. I felt very comfortable with them.

The surgery went without any problems – painless with some expected discomfort post op but not much to be wooried or concerned about. But I would rather have my eyes done than go for a scale and polish at the dentist – far less painful!.
The results are stunning – I play a lot of cricket – i can now even see the ball. Its a real treat to play sport without the need for glasses strapped to my head. The results are fantastic.

My after care has been top drawer – no waiting about – on time and they were able to give me lots of time for questions and a bit of gossip.

If you are thinking of getting your eyes done – do it now ,dont wait. look around at other providers but dont be sold on the short skirts or the sales pitch. Go to Accuvision at Solihull. Alan

I was thinking of having laser eye surgery so I decided to book a couple of consultations with different companies. I booked with Accuvision in Solihull and found their relaxed friendly approach very welcoming. I tried to call another company who advertise on the television and found their customer relations appalling. I went for my consultation at Accuvision and was extremely impressed so decided to go for it. I had my surgery and again the staff were helpful, friendly and very supportive. I was amazed by how quick surgery was. I don’t know what I was expecting the surgery to be like but I was surprised at how painless it was. It was brilliant to go home within an hour and my eyesight had already improved. It is great to be free from glasses and I am so glad I had the surgery. The aftercare is brilliant and the whole experience Accuvision at Solihull gave me is second to none. If you are thinking of having eye surgery and are nervous just go for it, you would wish you had it done sooner!!!!!!

It has now been over 2 years since I had my eyes corrected by Accuvision and my long distance vision is perfect. I’ve had no problems at all and my eye-sight hasn’t changed since I had the Wavefront Lasik treatment. I only require a 1.5 prescription for reading glasses. If you are apprehensive about laser treatment, don’t be as it’s a painless process and the results are excellent.

As I am naturally short sighted (approx -3D in both eyes) I only had the right eye treated. I’m using mono vision, with an optional weak contact lens for my left eye for computer use. For reading, I don’t need the lens.

After 3 days, my right eye is already better than with contact lenses.

The treatment was quicker and much less uncomfortable than I had expected. The staff were excellent, and so far, no complaints!
