Astigmatism

 I checked a few options for my surgery when I was considering having it done. It was the only time the limitations of the procedure were explained openly and honestly. This freshness reflects well and I did not feel I was being marketed to at my consultation.
The staff have been great at easing concerns and making me feel like I am the most important element in my treatment. 
I chose Accuvision over say Optimax because I trusted the quality of your reviews, even the negatives. I trusted your reviews as they appeared not to be artificially inflated or generated. 

 Went to AccuVision after being refused treatment elsewhere. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. There was no pressure to book on the day, infact I was told to go away and think about it first.
The team who carried out the surgery were excellent even though I was nervous and told jokes, they talked to me throughout.
I can’t fault anything about the clinic and the people working there.

 If you are wondering whether to have laser eye treatment performed by the excellent team at AccuVision then from my experience you should do so. Do not let anyone put you off if, in their opinion, after assessment AccuVision believe they can treat you. You will certainly be treated by some outstanding dedicated staff, with great skill and care and those in the team will seek to assist and relax you from any concerns you may have.

As a keen sports player and gardener and being an outdoor enthusiast, who had worn glasses since my early years, the change in my life through no longer having to wear glasses after circa 45 years has been immense. Now aged over 50 years, to be able to read the scoreboard at one end of Lord’s cricket ground and be sitting at the other end without wearing glasses showed me the very great benefit of having laser eye surgery. I have gone from having the poorest eyesight in my family to having the best – all in little more than a dozen minutes surgery…

I appreciate, as with any surgery, complications can occur and you may worry about having laser eye surgery. That is why I chose not to pay for the surgery with bottom end prices but to pay for a high quality service and that is very much what I received, not just when operated on in late September 2016 but on the further consultations I have had with AccuVision since.

While great care has to be taken with the eyes being sensitive to light in the immediate hours after the operation and the wearing of sunglasses even in darkish areas, personally, I shall never forget being able to read my watch without visual assistance as I got off the operating couch and immediately after surgery. Then later that day travelling back via Guildford by train and seeing blocks of flats at a distance of circa 800 metres from the railway station and realising for the first time in over 40 years I was no longer dependent on glasses and could see a surprising distance clearly, which I could not have seen in travelling to London that morning. 
What a fantastic change to my life in one afternoon! Nothing will ever seem quite the same.

Everyone made me feel really welcome, safe and like a valued customer. The whole process was nothing like as scary as I imagined. The actual op takes minutes and even with a few scary seconds (yes just seconds) I was in and out and able to see to go home within an hour.

The service I received at this clinic may be the best treatment as a consumer that I’ve ever had.
Every stage of the process I was made to feel extremely comfortable and each staff member treated me as an individual in a kind, understanding and patient way. I was reminded of its voluntary nature many times, reassuring me that there was absolutely no pressure to go through with it, which to me was very important.
During my consultation I also had described in great detail each stage that was to occur and he also addressed all my questions with very considerate answers and displayed an impressive amount of knowledge of vision and the eye as a whole. 
The aftercare has been just as consistent which was also very important as it didn’t feel like I was just dropped after the surgery was complete.
They have proven to be attentive even now, two weeks later and I feel confident that if I have any issues in the future they will be there for me.
