What can I say: fabulous staff, fabulous service and now fabulous eye sight!!! I got ‘zapped’ 4 days ago and it’s just amazing. The procedure itself is painless and so quick. The only irritation I found was on the first night due to the protective contact lenses they put in, but these were removed at the 1 day check up. Since then – brilliant!! I would highly recommend Accuvision. They were so efficient and professional, yet super friendly.

If you are reading this you must be thinking about having this treatment. It is one week since I had double wavefront in Solihull and so-far so-fantastic. I was really anxious about the process but my desire to chuck away my specs was just strong enough to see me through. The actual operation bit was a doddle – in fact watching the kalidascopic light show was quite interesting. My op was in the afternoon and I had no lunch – unfortunately I nearly passed out after the first eye so the team quickly rallied round, gave me a while to recover (and a Mars bar) and slotted me back in to do my other eye about 3/4 hr later. On the second day after having the contact lenses out I was really disappointed because although my vision was improved it was nowhere near 20-20 and I thought it hadn’t worked. After my first good nights sleep it got clearer and clearer and today Nick observed that my vision is better than 20-20 and will probably get a little better over the next few weeks. Anyway – the habits I can now drop are: reaching for my specs when I get out of bed, taking off my specs to put up/take off a jumper, panic when toddlers get near my face. And finally I can wear cheap shades! Go for it!

It’s exactly one year since I underwent laser eye surgery and I am delighted with my decision – the results have far exceeded my expectations, and I feel it’s the best money I have ever spent on myself!

The discomfort of the procedure was minimal, and I was fortunate to have a speedy recovery without any complications. I was back at work the next day! My vision is now close to 20/20, and I have not even experienced some of the common side effects such as dry eye. I feel less irritation and sensitivity from wind or smoke than before, and I’m sure my night vision is better than ever.

The need to buy a new pair of glasses initially prompted me to go for a consultation at a couple of clinics in order to get further advice and information about the procedure. The research I subsequently undertook quickly convinced me of the benefits, and I scheduled to have wavefront treatment at Accuvision on the 3rd August 2005. The reason I chose this clinic was because I was very impressed the professional experience and expertise of the surgeons, as well as their use of the more advanced laser equipment technology available on the market. The affordable cost and convenience of the no interest payment plan offered was an added bonus.

My delay in posting these comments are no reflection of my level of satisfaction. I am THRILLED with the freedom it has given me in my everyday life! It’s great to see clearly without the aid of glasses or contact lense – it’s like a miracle cure! I would definitely recommend anyone to consider this procedure as an alternative option to vision correction.

I had my treatment yesterday and am already happily using my PC again. The best I hoped for was to regain my distance vision as I love driving and a variet of outdoor pursuits. The result has surpassed my wildest dream and given that it was only done yesterday and today at the check up I was pronounced 20/20 vision I am delighted. My friends are totally amazed and the whole experience at Accuvision was proffessional,sympathetic, yes I was nervous, but reassured by all I met. I had my eye surgery at the Solihull clinic 20/06/2006. 2 months on and I am still amazed that I now have such good day and night vision. I could not fault the staff and thank them everyday! Hi, I had my surgery about 6-8 weeks ago now. For all you people who are like me and only have -1 to -2 vision and thought laser eye surgery would not make a difference think again. I must say the difference is amazing I am so impressed. I went to the Birmingham Clinic and the staff/experience was great. The actual surgery lasted no more than 6 minutes from start to finish(although yopu are there around 1.5 Hours).

Dispite what you may hear the surgery does not hurt nor is it uncomfortable if anything it is kind of a out of the body experience. The recovery time is quick and totally painless as is the surgery.

I would recommend Accuvision totally with no reservation. I did develop a very minor but rare eye infection which with support and the correct direction was gone in a matter of days.

I have now had my 4 week check and have got 20/10 vision in fact the optician I use does not have letters small enough for me to see!!!!!!!!! Although this vision was achieved within a day or two after surgery it did become sharper within one-two weeks post surgery.

Back at my work monitor 48hrs after having my eyes corrected! I cannot express how amazing the results have been but also how comfortable I was made to feel both before and during the procedure. I’ve only had my first review visit so far, but that was also brilliant. I think it’s fair to say that this is one of the best things I’ve ever done and think Accuvision are simply fab.
