Accuvision carried out Wavefront Lasik laser treatment on my eyes in May 2002 and I have never regretted having the treatment.
Like most people who have laser treatment I ummed and ahhed about getting it done for ages concerned about possible side effects.
After having two pre consultations with Accuvision I was informed that I was highly suitable for the procedure and the risks of side effects was low – Accuvision made it clear that they could not gaurantee that there would be no side effects whatsoever. Accuvision assured me with their level of profesionalism and I decided to go ahead.
I suffered minor irritation in one eye for about 18 hours after the procedure but from then unti to this day I have not had any problems – my eyesight is fantastic and I am free of all the irritation and inconvenience of contact lenses and glasses.
Seven years on I would say its the best thing I have ever done and has improved the quality of my life.
I would most definately recommend Accuvision to everyone who is considering laser correction

I had Trans-Epithelial Surface Treatment (T.E.S.T) laser vision correction at the end of September last year and couldn’t be more pleased. I’m only 18 and so thought I might be told I had to wait another few years before I could have the treatment but as my prescription had been stable for a long time I was told I could go ahead. The surgeons explained all the risks to me and then talked me through my options with no pressure whatsoever. I came back a few weeks later for my procedure. Trans-epi Laser surgery has a slightly longer recovery time so I spent a couple of days resting but with no real pain to speak of and felt my vision improve throughout the first week. By 4 days later I was able to see well and go about my normal life. By a week later I could drive again and now I’ve been told I have 20:20 vision if not better. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the service I received before, during and after my surgery, not once was I patronised or treated as anything other than an adult. Furthermore when my parents rang with questions the accuvision team answered all of the concerns and ensured that I was allocated the surgeon my parents specified they wanted for me. Waking up every morning being able to see is something people take for granted but for me it’s still an incredible experience and not having to bother with contacts at the end of the night or first thing in the morning is fantastic. Thank you so much Accuvision for making my life so much easier and more enjoyable!
Just been ‘discarged’ after being examined by Anthony. I only went to take my very happy sister who was late going back for a check-up after breaking her leg. We were both welcomed like family! I’ll miss the great atmosphere and very confident professional care. I’m 62 years old and I guess I’m never going to need anymore treatment… Hey Ho. I’m still excited at not having to wear glasses, reading or distance. If you are reading this and have any trepidation about having the treatment then all I can say is this:
If Accuvision say you are suitable then get on with it and be as happy as I am.
Some idiot published a criticism, the only one I’ve seen about this great team, and said they would be better off running a curry house. Well, to pinch a line from another product, if they did then it would be the best curry house in the land. I’m delighted they don’t cook curry but do serve up a delightful dish of wondrous sight improvement.
I am 55 years old and had got used to wearing contacts most days @prescription +6 and +5.25.I also had varifocals for days I rested from lenses but these had got so thick that i could not get a ‘trendy designer’ pair that looked anything but bottle tops!
I was told my cornea was 2 thin for laser(took 2 opinions) and I was recommended Lens Exchange operation. It sounded scary to have a part of me removed and replaced with plastic but it turned out to be a piece of cake…. chose sedation and they do one eye at a time-was scared when i woke up at home next morning and took patch off in case it had gone wrong but immediately it was sensational.Couple of weeks later I had the second one done.They give you one eye for close and one for distance and your brain apparently decides which one to use as master depending what you are doing.
I am now 20:20-can read and drive and play golf without any correction although I now have a slight slice off the tee (not fault of new eyes sadly) It cost me 5k- but was spending £40 per month on lenses and my last varifocals were £750 so hey…

I am 37 years old and have seriously been considering laser correction for about 5 years, but was put off after consultations to a couple of the Tottenham Court Road clinics that were just like commercial enterprises. They did not make me feel safe or comfortable about the treatment or level of service I would require. Being -6.75 and -5.50 I recently decided to look again at having the treatment and came to Accuvision. Everything has been so professional, the depth of consultation and their attitude gave me confidence to proceed to treatment. Added plus, the cost was actually half that quoted by the other clinics.
I am now 10 days after treatment with 20:20 vision, no pain throughout, havent even needed a Paracetemol. I have had more issue after getting a bit of sand in my eye some years ago!
I cannot praise the staff and technology at Accuvision highly enough, and am recommending them to all my visually challenged friends!
Accuvision gave me hope when all other clinics had turned me away due to the strength of my prescription.
They are really understanding and patient. They explained everything clearly and put no pressure on me to make a decision either way.
I have worn glasses since i was 4 years old and my prescription was:
R +6.25/-100×180
L +7.00/-1.50×180
Accuvision were very honest and said they may not be able to give me 100% correction and i may need glasses for reading/driving etc. That was fine with me as i had worn glassed all day every day for 30 years and wanted a better quality of life with more choice.
Well the procedure was a total success and i now do not need glasses at all. It’s like magic, i wish i had done it years ago.

I could not rate this clinic any higher. The experience from beginning to end is absolutely faultless.
I had laser surgery on my eyes 1 week ago and I can honestly say that the transformation is life changing. My myopia was extreme at -8.50 in both eyes.
I have had no complications since the operation – no dryness, no itching and the aftercare has been excellent.
I had quotes from other clinics, some up to double the price of Accuvision so I was slightly dubious as to how they could offer me the same treatment for so much less money. But, there was no catch. Just amazing service, a great clinical team and a life changing operation.
I cannot praise Accuvision any higher.
If you’re considering treatment, take a trip to meet the team and you will not trust your eyes with anyone else.

I had ‘Trans-Epithelial Surface Laser’ with monovision. I had thin corneas and so a surface procedure was safer than LASIK.
Accuvision provide a very friendly, patrients first service. I have a superb result with 20/20 in the distance and able to read tiny print close up and this is now a couple of years later.
I am very happy with my decision to correct my vision and am glad I chose Accuvision.
