Short sight

I was worried by some reviews i had read online but i cannot fault this team. Every visit has been prompt, professional and friendly too! It’s been a month since the surgery and my eyes are better than 20/20- I can’t even remember wearing glasses! Really happy and would highly recommend!

I’ve just had Lasik Laser Eye Surgery at Accuvision in Fulham (Parsons Green) and can’t fault the service I have received. Every single member of staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed at all times – from the initial consultation to the actual surgery. On the surgery day in the treatment room there was 3/4 people in the room talking to me the whole way through – each making sure I was okay and also explaining to me what was happening and when. Straight after my treatment a different surgeon even came over to check I was okay and to offer his advice while I was waiting for my drops to take home. I had the treatment on Friday 11th March and have 99% recovered already by Monday 13th March. I considered going to Optical Express but when I went for the consultation I felt like I was just being treated like another number and was being sold to the whole time – where as at Accuvision I felt like they cared a lot more. I would be more than happy to answer any questions anyone may have about my experience!

I can finally see without glasses!
Operation itself was a little uncomfortable but over so quickly. You just need to think "a few minutes of this and I’ll be able to see without glasses."
Everyone I dealt with was a professional, explained things to put me at ease and answered any questions.

I always felt I was in good hands. Being able to wear ANY sunglasses last summer was fantastic! I always had to wear contacts and because I have hayfever I’d get itchy eyes . Contacts would come out, sunglasses off and glasses on which made me squint.

Now I can wear sunglasses…. Yay!

I have been wearing glasses for 20 years and contact lenses for 15 years. For two years my eyes also became very dry when wearing contact lenses and they were quite painful. So it was time to change something! Accuvision have been very professional, friendly and make me feel welcome all the time. The surgery itself was very quick, painless and hassle-free. This review has been a long time coming! I had wavefront lasik done at the London clinic by Parsons Green when I was 27, which is now 11 years ago when I was living in Cambridge. I’m now 38, ready to share my reflections. It seemed expensive at the time, but I knew I was making a long term investment in my eyes. It was worth every penny! My eyes are still as sharp as ever I am happy to say. The staff at the clinic were absolutely fantastic all the way. I was asked at the time of discharge if I’d be happy to write a review of my experience way back then, and I am happy to be able to write it now. I can look back and know that it’s been some of the best money I’ve ever spent. I can’t stress enough how transformational it is to be able to see properly. It is *amazing*! I still have the memories of wearing the protective contacts for a bit, and then being able to take them off and everything just popping with sharpness. I was staring at *everything*! In the intervening years I’ve seen things that would have just been a blur before and I’d have missed them – so glad I did this.

Having just completed the second follow up appointment, I wanted to take the opportunity to say how wonderful the whole experience has been. From the moment of the first consultation, all the way to the follow ups. Accuvision have been very professional, friendly and made me feel my eyes were the most important thing to them! I would, and indeed do- highly recommend Accuvision to anyone making the decision to go for laser treatment. The day of the operation was conducted swiftly, professionally and with lots of care for my wellbeing. The after care is second to none, and the staff are wonderful at making you feel at ease with plenty of time for you. You hear it often with people who have gone for laser eye treatment- but I’ll say it again! Best thing I ever did…and I’m very happy with the decision to go with Accuvision. From the moment I phoned the first time to ask for information, to my post surgery check up, through the first visit and subsequent surgery day, the staff made me feel at home, in great capable professional hands and with human warm and friendly people. The group of tests gave me more sound information about my eye history than I ever had, and it was free with no comittment. I didn’t take long after some research and hearing feedback from other patients and from friends having got laser somewhere else that I was in the right place and the treatment was quality for money and done by professionals of the eye. I was taken care of at all times, always someone at the phone if needed, and personally treated at the clinic. Everything went faster and better than I had anticipated, and my recovery has been wonderful as well as the outcome. I cannot only thank enough the team, but also highly recommend the clinic to those who would like their eye condition to be treated successfully, by the most reliable team of oftalmologist and surgeons, and the best customer care I’ve experienced. It will be a stress and pain free short journey to the years of freedom and vision!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team are all so friendly and helpful. Any questions I had were answered fully and in plain English. Not only were they great on the day of the procedure, but also on follow up appointments. I would highly recommend this clinic if you’re blind as a bat, like I was!
