The Accuvision laser eye surgeons team is led by Mr Daryus Panthakey, the Founder and Clinical Director and Mr Chad Rostron, the Medical Director and world renowned corneal surgeon. They oversee the outstanding standards of customer care, technology and surgical expertise our laser eye surgeons provide within our clinics.
Daryus has been involved in ophthalmic optics for over 30 years and in particular in the advancement of corneal refractive procedures since 1990. He is one of only a handful of people around the world who has acquired a unique ‘hands on’ overview of laser technology and associated diagnostic devices. It is with this knowledge that he has developed a highly experienced team of laser eye surgeons.
Daryus has also been intimately involved with evolving newer applications and training surgeons in the finer aspects of custom laser vision correction procedures as an ongoing process. Consequently, Accuvision were appointed Global Ambassadors and a Beta Site for WaveLight laser, jointly developing safer, easier to use devices with many companies at the forefront of vision sciences around the world.

Mr Chad Rostron F.R.C.S London, F.R.C.Ophth London, trained as an eye specialist in the 1980's, becoming a fellow in 1988. He specialised in laser eye surgery from 1995 when excimer lasers first became available and was one of the first surgeons to use the LASIK technique in the UK. Since then he has trained many laser eye surgeons. In addition to being Medical Director at Accuvision, Mr Rostron is also Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital and honorary ophthalmology consultant at Sutton & St Heliers and Kingston Hospital. He also specialises in a variety of intra-ocular refractive surgery procedures that are available at Accuvision.
